The Faculty of Health Sciences’ Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, and Department of Nursing represented our faculty by participating in the SABDEK Deans’ Council Meeting organised by the Health Sciences Deans’ Council (SABDEK).

The meeting addressed the current state of health sciences education in Turkey and the TRNC, accreditation processes, the development of national standards, and improving the quality of education and training. Comprehensive assessments were made on quality assurance in higher education, curriculum updates, and student-centred education models.

Deputy Dean Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hazel Şahin Tarım stated that the views and suggestions obtained at the meeting would be reflected in our Faculty’s strategic plans, emphasising that SABDEK’s work serves as an important guide in the field of higher education.
