Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation organised an interview with the theme “Companion of Unobstructed Goals: Sports Physiotherapist” within the framework of second Career Days event of the department.

University of Kyrenia Vice Rector and Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Prof. Dr. Rüveyde Bundak, Head of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Department Asst. Prof. Ft. Özge Çakır, lecturers and students attended the event on 17 May 2022 at 15.00, that held at Prof. Dr. İlkay Salihoğlu Republic Hall.

Gaziantep Hasan Kalyoncu University Faculty of Health Sciences Dean and the Vice President of the Turkish Physically Handicapped Sports Federation Prof. Dr. Kezban Bayramlar attended as speaker while Asst. Assoc. Dr. Ft. Özge Çakır participated in the event as moderator.

Prof. Dr. Kezban Bayramlar shared her successful 33-year career journey, both as a clinician and as an academic, to the students through a pleasant conversation.

Explaining the importance of disability sports and its development process in the world perspective to young prospective colleagues, Prof. Dr. Bayramlar shared her contributions and experiences as a physiotherapist in the Paralympic games and various European championships.

Hasan Kalyoncu University Faculty of Health Sciences Dean Prof. Dr. Kezban Bayramlar explained how the main function of the Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Department in providing an independent and quality life to the individuals gains meaning with the disability sports.

Advising students to be versatile and choose a second specialization, Prof. Dr. Bayramlar also shed light on their career goals with her answers to students’ questions.

At the end of the event, University of Kyrenia Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Rüveyde Bundak thanked Prof. Dr Kezban Bayramlar for her participation in the event and presented a plaque.
